Animals that can attack
Southern lion, common hippopotamus and Cape buffalo are named as animals capable of attacking or charging. The description also uses Cape African Buffalo for the buffalo; it is not a separate extra species. Do not assume every predator attacks, or that these animals charge every time.
Choose the reserve before the hotspot
Use this list to pick the correct reserve, then find discovered need zones and their activity times on your own map. The list does not assign a permanent coordinate to each animal. Hearth & Hunt Headquarters is not an additional set of species to add to the total, and unnamed future animals are not included.
